Logistics

Engaging the Services of Bryan Rice CPA is a simple process:

  • If you are involved in a litigated matter, you or your attorney may contact me on your behalf and discuss your case
  • If it is determined that Bryan and his team can be of assistance and has no conflict of interest, the client signs an engagement letter that outlines the terms and conditions of the engagement, with an appropriate retainer fee paid at that time.
  • Occasionally, the attorney hires Bryan as a consultant employed by the attorney as opposed to being hired by the client.

Engagement Logistics:

  1. Bryan and members of his team will meet with and consult with the client and/or the attorney to determine the estimated cost of services, scope of the assignment, deadlines, etc.
  2. Bryan and members of his team will request the appropriate information that is required to perform the assignment. Click here to download a Business Valuation Document Request List. Other types of cases (see Services) have very specific document / information needs.
  3. As information is received, it is organized and analyzed based on the specifics of the assignment. Please see the Document Management tab under “Services” for more information about this step.
  4. If Bryan is disclosed as a testifying expert in a litigated matter, he may present his opinions at deposition, trial, arbitration, or in the form of an affidavit or formal report.

Bryan has also participated in numerous settlement conferences, mediations, and negotiations, and is committed to assisting in that process.
